Our Lutheran Christian Faith Summarized in Five Points
1. Scriptures Alone (Sola Scriptura): The Bible alone is our highest authority
2. Faith Alone (Sola Fide): We are saved through faith alone in Jesus Christ.
3. Grace Alone (Sola Gratia): We are saved by the grace of God alone.
4. Christ Alone (Solus Christus): Jesus Christ alone is our Lord, Savior, and King.
5. To the glory of God alone (Soli Deo Gloria): We live for the glory of God alone.
Our History
July 13, 1952 the first Sunday School and Worship Service was held above the Beaver Falls Fire Station, and was called "The Church of the Lutheran Hour, Missouri Synod".
April 8, 1956 Mount Olive Lutheran Church held its first service in a remodeled building in Chippewa Township
June 23, 1958 Mount Olive formally received into membership of the Eastern District - Missouri Synod
October 14, 1962 the Dedication of the church building was held with membership of 121.
June 24, 1990 the Church addition was completed with Mount Olive Christian Preschool opening in August 1991.
September 11, 2005 Fellowship Hall was dedicated with new classrooms, and a Prayer Garden to follow in October 2006
April 30, 2023 Mount Olive Lutheran Church moved into its current location in Big Beaver
